Okay... you got me. I've been dabbling here and there with ideas and designs in my head. Now this doesn't mean that the FWF... or the EFW I should say... will come to life anytime soon. I just thought some of you might like to see these pages because I did have some fun making 'em.
I'm still busy busy busy until mid-2007 and I honestly don't know if the workload will decline after that. But it is a glimmer of hope no?
And I don't have to tell you that feedback is always appreciated!
You really need to stop fooling people Eddie. The smart people all know why you did this. You can't stand the fact me and Starr have moved on, despite your efforts to get rid of us by closing the FWF so you and EZJ can run the show and produce lackluster matches for the very small fanbase you have left. You might delete this and edit it so you can hide things but if you do that i'll make sure you and the EWF's very small thread of credibility is ruined.
I used to think you were a decent guy but your just a person behind a monkier who is so self absorbed with himself (just like EZJ) that you'll do anything to get what you want, even destroying a great thing like the FWF and pushing dedicated and loyal writers out for your selfishness. No one should ever deal with you in buisness or in life.
Hopefully some people will get to read this and get an idea of what you are about. In reality Eddie doesn't like suggestions or criticism but he can dish it out. Just ask all the writers that ever worked with him.
I thought about it for a few seconds Kent ... maybe a full minute ... but I decided to leave your post alone. Not sure why. It could be the tyrant image you've painted of me that I find totally amusing ... or is it insulting?
You're on the right track but "self-absorbed" is too strong a word. I do have a bit of an ego and it shows up from time to time, but can you really blame me? Look at the league I started ... and now think about how long I've managed it with minimal support (and by "support" I'm referring entirely to Hacksaw). Yeah, I definitely have a right to these feelings of pride.
But "selfish" am I? When have I discounted the contributions made by talented writers ... and how in the world did I chase them off? Rossi, Nigel, Ian, EZJ, JD, Chris, Starr, Hacksaw, John, Jan, Juan, the anonymous writer from the FWF early days ... I love how you're able to speak on behalf of all of them. Actually no. I don't like it one bit. As far as contributions go, you're not in their class. Speak for yourself and no one else. If they want to chew me out then that is their right ... not yours.
Many times I've tried to explain my actions to you ... no longer. I don't owe you a damn thing and I don't care what you think of me personally. I'll focus my energy on the "small fanbase" I have left. If you've got nothing more to share than a personal attack, then please do as you claim and "move on."
This site revamp is something I did for fun and I thought it would be fun to share. Maybe get some feedback. No conspiracy here. If the FWF/EWF returns it won't be in the near future, but there is no harm in putting something out there to keep people excited.
For anyone else wishing to leave feedback ... you have my attention.
This new place seems ok but 1 easy question? WHERE IN THE HELL IS EVERYONE'S FAVORATE FACE MONICA BRANT, DAMN IT!!!! (lmao sorry but I really, really liked her!)
There's a good question. Monica is popular among the fans - myself included - so why isn't she on the roster? Well, I had it in mind that she would go down with the ship. Monica was so identifiable with the FWF that the new regime didn't want her in the league. Perhaps they put her in some gnarly back-against-the-wall match she had no hope of winning?
But fear not. The roster I am using is anything but final. The only things accurate about it are the size and distribution. I'm even wondering if 6 belts are necessary. The 3 weight-division belts seem set in stone. And so does the World title. But with a TV title (perhaps renamed) do we also need an IC title?
As I've mentioned before, the EFW/FWF won't be starting anytime soon (late next year and that's not even a sure thing). Life's put plenty on my plate at the moment and I know some of you can relate. This site is something I want to work on from time to time because it brings me great joy. To me this is like designing a game, establishing the rules and putting the pieces on the board so that people can play -- if we ever get up and running again.
And before I forget ... I hope everyone has a fun time ringing in the New Year!
Oh come on. I'm sure that what drove Eddie to make this EFW concept had less to do with ego and more to do with a legitimate interest in the fitness wrestling concept...all despite what complications necessitated the closure of the FWF in the first place. That, boys and girls, is fanfare, and not all that common as evidenced by the extreme lack of female e-wrestling sites. It's good of Eddie to lay it out straight that this potential fed won't be up any time soon, and to continue to dedicate himself to the FWF he got started. I think he should continue to do what's right for himself first and foremost; to be fair, the FWF really did come to a snail's pace, and the anticipation of EFW might liven things up if it finally happens...but with Eddie all the better in his personal and professional life. And I've seen nothing but appreciation for all the writers - big and small - who kept the FWF going throughout the years.
As for EFW, I mostly like it. The FWF got way too big, which added insult to slowness. EFW is a way of getting back to basics with ease. There are still familiar faces like Grace Rivera and Deidre Pagnanelli but it looks like D-B's Nadine and Evans are "Face Wrestlers"?!? And there are new faces like Jenny Lynn who, IMO, is a great choice to take over from Monica Brant. I like the idea that there was some "Ragnarok" event and the esteemed Monica, like Odin or Thor, didn't make it to see the new world.
I'm one of the writers. Eddie has been nothing but totally fair with me since day 1.
If Starr has a beef, he can state it here.
I can't speak for the other writers, but I doubt many had a problem with Eddie.
AND EVEN IF THEY DID, it is/was Eddie's site, and your infantile mind seems to forget that extremely important fact.
You have tried to turn me against Eddie for months now.
Why?
Because Eddie shut the FWF site down for fear of legal lashback.
Cry, me, a, river.
You barely even contributed!!! And you are bitching about it? As if you have a right!
It was a smart move shutting it down and re-evaluating options.
Yet, like a baby, you cry about it, and try to act as if we have some type of ulterior motives on a website that we don't make a single penny off of.
Who is going to pony up the money if you guys get sued at the other site?
Who is the lawyer giving you all your advice?
Is he/she drunk, or is it just you?
My main beef with you is that you constantly, constantly, would try to drive a wedge between Eddie and I in our MSN conversations.
I wouldn't be so harsh, but I have been up front with you since the very beginning. And then you come here and try to bash Eddie's integrity because of your petty jealously.
Eddie has been nothing but upfront with me since we started, and he doesn't fly off the handle when things don't go his way. (unlike a little bird named Kent)
Good luck with your venture, but I'm no longer interested if an irrational child is going to have a part in running things.
I was not going to get involved in this but I see now I have to.
First, the new site (
www.afwwrestling.com) is MY site. I started it, I administer it. Period.
Kent is a friend and writer for the new site. Like most people, he doesn't get along with all my other friends (and if you say all your friends get along, you're either lying or deluded). The beef between Kent, Eddie and EZJ is theirs to work out (or not). But before anybody else throws any stones, check the glass house you reside in first.
My goal with the new site is to continue what the FWF started but Viraleus doesn't have the time for anymore....namely, the enjoyment, adoration, worship (etc., etc., etc.) of these beautiful, dedicated women of fitness, bodybuilding and pro wrestling. The fed is supposed to be what we would do if we had the money of VKM and the same TV time....elevate these women into the superstars we think they are.
That having been said, I would like to have all the followers of the FWF give the new federation a chance and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. As with Viraleus, I am open to feedback, suggestions, et al so please chime in. You can reach me at starrme@ca.rr.com with your comments.
And EZJ....if Kent is the pot then I guess you're the kettle. Life's too short for this. Let's ALL move on, shall we?
