BGL's Celeste B is pretty damn hot and so is Eve Torres.
I wouldn't mind seeing Eve Torres VS Gina Carano in a match. Since I want to attend the same Gracie Ju Jitsu that Eve Torres trains at which is here in my hometown of Torrance. Eve putting her black belt to good use and seeing an all out match.
It's been increasingly busy this time of year. I spend a good portion of my week in a hellish job that, although it pays my bills, also saps my strength and reduces me to rubbish. Think of a ****ty boss you have (had) and I can probably give you a run for your money!
Beyond that I have commitments to friends and family. The same, I'm sure, can be said of the writers. I really wish we could have Battle Carnival 13 wrapped right now but some key matches are delayed. Adding to that delay is my taking of a much-needed vacation. It might be into July when BC13 finally concludes.
That said, I'm always open to discussion and seeing a more lively board. If others would like to sound off on their circumstances, frustrations, or fascinations, then it would be a good thing.

Did you know that Maryse at WWE was a competitive Karate fighter in the olden days? She holds a black belt in Kyokushin Karate, and I was soooo looking forward to her using her martial arts skills against Eve. But all they made her do was flip around some random schmoe wearing a gi who called himself a martial arts instructor. LOL
But alas, the WWE is nowhere near as good as we are, so that won't happen.
But I think there was a nice rivalry going on there, the firey Latina BJJ babe vs the pretty prissy sultry bitchy blonde.
The board's dead indeed, I wonder why. Is it the lack of updates, or just lack of interest?
It's summer after all, so I'm sort of taking it easy too. Besides, the reaction from my last post was pretty pathetic to say the least, not much to 'fuel' the writing. Throw in my usual not-so-prolific writing, there... lol
But at least I'm not really in the BC, so it's not as bad.
Perhaps I could continue a few IQ or side matches to keep the interest going, but from past experience, like I said, seems not many read, or they're all very silent readers.

But yeah in a real fight, you want to get the person down to the ground and start ending it soon. So I think Eve would have the advantage. I think. If I ever decide to muster up the money and sign up for the Gracie Ju Jitsu, I hope to meet Eve. heh.
I think Eve's sort of improved, but in the wrong way. lol I mean, it's obvious the WWE's trying some kind of half assed attempt to 'look' like they're legit fighting league, by making their wrestlers use 'real' holds'.
I saw Eve get maryse in that armbar from the toprope. The skill's fantastic, so that's why I say Eve's really becoming a real good fighter...
But being a pro wrestler, that's a different story. =\
lol But then again, you may always argue that the Divas are a category of their own.
As for Maryse... You've seen her kick other girls in the back of the head, have you not? Brutallll... :P Good night, Eve! :P
