So, lately, many of us have been weighing in our opinions on the W.T.T. But our opinions have only included the girls who are actually in the tournament. I think we can all agree that we enjoyed the Deven Jones angle at Death Slam. It was funny and she made a statement. She's a former World Champion but she was not included in the tournament and she's ****ED. But, we all can see that she has some pull with Cory Everson and Cory Everson runs Madness....


Here's where I'm going: At Madness, Cory finds a backdoor way for Deven to get into the tournament, sort of. After the 1st round is over, Cory allows Deven to choose any of the 8 girls who were first round losers as an opponent. The winner of that particular match gets to move on, sort of. Once the 2nd round is over, the Deven vs Some Other Girl winner gets to choose any of the 4 girls who are eliminated from that round. The winner of that match gets to face the loser of their choice from the third round (semi-finals) of the tournament. The winner of that match gets to face the girl who loses the finals of the World Title Tournament for a future World Title Match for up to, oh, say, 1 year from that episode (sort of a Money In The Bank Title Shot Match.)


Conceivably, Cory could manipulate this so these stipulations are ironclad and the other G.M.'s are prevented from blocking them even though it probably means Deven wrestles some of the matches on their shows.


And what about Timea Majorova? If she finds this out, she'll be ****ED, too...

That's a nice idea, Geoff, to play off the relationship between Cory Everson and Deven Jones.  The ultimate goal is to include Deven in the World title hunt, however, there are other deserving wrestlers that were left out of the tourney.  Timea Majorova is a big omission as well as Min Yung Kim (that wrestler is lethal) and Grace Rivera.  Instead, their spots have been filled with uber-underdogs like Amy Lynn, Brandi Carrier, and Dana Hamm.


But I think their absences may be beneficial in the future.  After all, the next World Champion will need to feud with someone and they (Deven, Timea, Min, Grace) are dangerous opponents waiting in the wings.  So I don't think it's too much if Deven sits out the tournament.


And this is just my opinion.  I'd like to hear what other people think about Geoff's proposal.
