...what phrase or text can I put in the left margin of the image? Given her "Lightning Strike" finisher, I followed Nate's recommendation and gone with a lightning theme.
I'm working on some new ads for current and defunct stables. Eventually I'd like to use them in the main stables directory. The difficulty with these images is that stables tend to be fluid with members being added and removed. For this reason I'm starting to focus on ads that are cool-looking but also without specific members illustrated. Of course, I make exceptions here and there!
Maybe it's the upcoming Olympics in London, but I had the sudden urge to revamp a few of our fictitious ads. You'll notice that the new looks include the wrestler's country of origin in some subtle or glaring way. What say ye? Thumbs up? Thumbs down?

Very nice! I think Davana's image shows the biggest improvement followed by Lena's a close second. I liked Mavi's old image the same as the new one. They give two different vibes. Zhanna's flag is definitely subtle. The countdown is also more clear with the original image.

I agree that the countdown could be more visible on the revamped Zhanna ad. I'll see what I can do!
