Not just this message board, as this is just a general discussion here.

I've been to a lot of message boards.    I have even ran a couple before.

You take a look at the people who have logged in, and often times, you will see a lot of people.

Then, you will make a thread up on a subject, and you will see that the subject gets a lot of views.

It means, either...

A:   Different people have viewed that thread.
B:   The same people view that thread over and over.

So, A or B.   Might be a C, or a D.   Don't know, don't really care.
(That's a lie, actually I do care)

Actually, I want to focus on this message board.

So, if I can get some information from the intelligentsia here, I would like to know the answer to the first question posed.

Why don't more people post more in message boards?

So for right now, let's talk about this one.   As far as I know, when I type, and hit the submit button, the message board seems to work.

That's right.

The message board works!    It does as I command.   I type my message, hit submit, and my message shows up.    No problems or issues whatsoever.

Now, maybe you don't like the colors.   Maybe the colors aren't right.   Maybe you only post when the background is pink.     Or, maybe orange fits your personality more.

Perhaps you only post when it's a post about your favorite girl, or your favorite submission hold, or maybe when you are called bad names by other members.

It's possible, that the only time you post, is when you are drinking beer, or smoking weed, or maybe after a sugary snack that makes you feel giddy and friendly.

What makes people post?

Is this board interesting?    Uninteresting?     Do you think the writers suck?
Do you think the writers are excellent?    Do you think some writers are ok, and others not ok?

We have hundreds of threads here for your viewing pleasure.    If people posted more, we could create hundreds more.

Is that desirable?   Undesirable? 

I do, however, have some guesses on why people don't post.

- maybe their fingers are broke
- they don't know how to type
- they don't know what to say
- they just had brain surgery, and can't think correctly  (hey daigz!)
- they are worried about war in the Middle East
- they have one hand on their penis, and the other hand on their pepsi
- their keyboard is broken
- they don't understand English, and log in only for the images
- they are mad we are hosting with ezboard, and not vbulletin
- their mind is on other things, like high gas prices, and their wife yelling at them 5 minutes earlier
- the kids are in the room
- the wife is in the room
- their boyfriend is in the room
- they are jacking their boyfriend off
- they are too busy petting their dog
- they superglued the keyboard keys down, so they can't type anything, and can only go to specific webpages they have in their browser, with their passwords saved, BEFORE they glued their keyboard keys down.
- they are afraid God is watching
- they are afraid their dead mother is watching
- all members have Adhd syndrome, and immediately go from thread to thread, and forget what they were going to previously type, because of the rapid inflow of new information
- the only way they can type, is by putting a pencil in their mouth, because they have no arms

Am I getting close?
Have I positively identified the reasons?

I will be most interested to see if anyone replies to this thread.    

I would like all members who take the time to read this thread, and get this far down, after reading all of this rambling, to take the time to say something.

It doesn't matter if you have posted before, or if you post all the time, or if you have never posted before in your life.

Because I am super intelligent, at the time of this post, the thread VIEWS are at 0.     I know this, because I am super smart.    I have a PHD in bull****.

So, post something.    Say something positive about the site.    Tell us about your trip to Disneyland.     Call me an ******* if it makes you feel good.
