Step 1: The Headfake Eddie states he is tiring of the site and wants to invest his energies in a new professional direction and will not be able to maintain the site. Site closes. One of his top writers says he will open a new site and asks the FWF writers for help. Promises are made and the site very slowly opens and start to take shape.
Step 2: The Switcheroo Out of the blue, Eddie establishes a new site and says its only a private site and something for him to fiddle with. Of course, now writers who promised to help with the new site strangely become silent and no longer correspond with the moderator of the new site. Still, the moderator has no worries because these writers PROMISED participation.
Step 3: The Knife Twist Eddie's new site begins to flourish with material from the old writers along with a new one. Correspondence with the new site's moderator is strangely silent. Since both sites are about to use the same girls, an agreement is reached with a split of the talent. Eddie puts restrictions on the roster and writer allotment while the new site trudges along without help.
Step 4: The Knife Twist (reprise) The new EFW site spits out episodes regularly thanks to the larger number of writers. Still, thanks to one of the writers who is splitting time, two large cards are finished and both sites seem to be co-existing and flourishing. Alas, the peace cannot last. The new site pulls a Vince McMahon and decides to grab girls from the new site. Women who would not have been developed had it not been for the moderator of the new site. This basically insures that the new site is doomed since who wants to read matches with the same girls but vastly different settings.
As that moderator of the new site, I want to sincerely thank Eddie and his FWF writers (Chris, Nigel, Rossi and Daigz) for all the help they gave to make the AFW a success. Their promised assistance was greatly appreciated. I promised to try to make a new fed/site that would be loyal to the old one and have a greater array of women and writers. I was right on one point. Still, I am sticking to MY promise to the fans who used to enjoy my work. I WILL not crawl or slink back. Instead, I will ride this out and continue to produce matches for the fans who did enjoy what I was trying to do. I gave my word and I owe them that much.
After all, integrity is all I have and without it, I'd just be Eddie. Thank you and good night.

Funny, we discussed this all with Starr, who we all was under the impression ran the site.
Who in the blue hell are you?
How many matches have you contributed?
Are you a web designer over there, or just the AFW head cheerleader?
We decided that we didn't want two sites split up amongst a small base of fans. We also didn't like the fact that everytime we added girls, we had to check with Starr. We also wanted another big time writer, so we tried to encourage Starr to shut down, and come back into the fold. (a fact you seemed to "leave out" above)
Starr's site has been crawling. No thanks to you Kent, as rarely, if ever, do you put out any matches.
Talk about broken promises!
The entire time you have been around, you have been the perpetual critic.
The "armchair quarterback" who screams about things, but brings nothing to the table.
You are also a master at assumptions, in which much of the above is either untrue, or grossly out of context.
I mean, let's see.
Eddie has done 50+ some odd episodes between the FWF and EFW. Literally, and I mean literally, 100's upon 100's of hours worth of work.
Starr, and no pun intended to Starr, has completed 2 episodes.
What right do you have to bitch?
You Kent, have contributed almost nothing.
As for your little "steps" above, let me summarize for those interested enough to read this far.
Step 1: So what? This was under the premise that Eddie's site was done. Eddie came back, and Eddie was the one most of us writers got started with. First to market, first to the heart.
Step 2: Which writers? Try being more specific. Also, Eddie closed it down, and decided to open it back up. I mean, that was so horrible of Eddie, you know, since he has been doing this for YEARS, and it obviously is something he loves.
Not all of us like the way Starr runs things, along with the huge stables, run-ins every match, and some of the rules and setup he has going on. That's nothing against Starr, but choice is a good thing in life.
Step 3: The roster split was MY IDEA to try to give fairness to both sides. How would you categorize Eddie giving up talent as a "knife twist" to appease someone he didn't have to appease in the first place? Eddie had no obligation to make Starr's site a success. Eddie started all of this, and Eddie has every right to continue where he left off if he damn pleases!
Step 4: Actually more than 1 of us writers contributed to Starr's site. And secondly, Starr does not own a copyright on characters "he developed". We are using the women themselves, and they will be based upon how we want to use them. If this ensures the "new site is doomed", that is your own fault, no one else's. (We tried to negotiate with Starr to no avail)
Ever heard of "Roman Gladiator Wrestling"? Perhaps we should contact them, and bitch about how their girls are being used, and then suggest that they shut their site down, because they are using girls we are using. YEA RIGHT.
The internet is a large place. It has plenty of room for diversity.
Get out and advertise, and instead of bitching, how about going out and trying to recruit some new writers?
Your site will only be doomed if you let it be doomed.
And lastly, who enjoyed your work?
I think that was the most amazing statement of all above.
What did you write?
1, maybe 2 matches the whole time you have been around?
Don't break a sweat there buddy!
I find it amazing you contribute almost nothing, but do 90 percent of the mud slinging.
I realize you are trying to stick up for your buddy, but we talked with him directly, and if he has something to say, he is a big enough man to come over here and say it without your assistance.
If we didn't like Starr, or respect Starr, we wouldn't have spent hours with him on MSN Messenger trying to hash this out.
He was the roadblock, and we made many concessions in trying to merge the AFW and EFW. He said very clearly, that he wanted to run his own thing, and he did not like our girls, or the way we ran things over here.
So what to do?
We made concessions for him, and he did not want them! We wanted to go in a new direction, and not be handcuffed on the girls we wanted to use.
Therefore, we voted to go and have "seperate universes", and that is the final word kid.
If you don't like it, hike your ass on back over to the AFW, and start writing some quality material that your fans will enjoy.
Kent, nice of you to not call me out on this, but I'll take my part in this. I wanted the merger to happen too. I can't write 30 matches a show between both sites. I've tried to help out where I can, but my time is limited as everyone elses is. But you've insulted my matches probably more than anyone, so don't try to hold back on me because I accepted your apology. Get the facts straight before posting.
Me, Ed, badgirlover, and Starr spent 4 hours trying to work something out. Starr decided not to do so. That's his right. But we did not try to "bury him" We were willing to give concession after concession to bring him back.
And guess what? I created some of the girls on the AFW. If I want to continue to write them here, that's my right. It's got nothing to do with Starr, Ed, or everyone else. That's my choice.
I contacted Ed to start writing his site first. I started writing here first. I tried to help Starr out later, but I just can't hold up. If you wanna blame me, go ahead. But don't call out a bunch of writers for not helping out mulitple sites when YOU DON'T WRITE ****!
If anyone should be upset it's badgirlover. He tried to bring us all together. He tried the hardest to work something out. All sides agreed to go their seperate ways, and he gets this as a thanks for trying. Kiss off
Just for the record, this rant, in no way reflects upon Catlover or Nate. Both have gone above and beyond the call of friendship to help me with the AFW site as well as be a sounding board. If this affects them or seems like an attack on them, I apologzie.......to them! (Sorry guys! ). As for BadGirlLover, you need to chill out and take a hit from the bong! Time may lessen my feelings but I doubt it. And before anybody really judges me, then know that you don't know all the facts and/or have tried to put yourself in my position.
"I know it was you Fredo. You broke my heart. You broke my heart!"
Starr I've tried not to pick a side with you, since I wrote both sites. But apologizing to me and "the other guy" ONLY is bs. Nigel, Imperial, Chris, Daigz, Conner, Bulldawg, and anyone else have no responsibilty to write to anyone other than who they feel. I may write a lot of matches. Badgirllover may write a lot of matches. That doesn't mean everyone has too. If they only liked girls on Ed's site, that's their perogative.
First and foremost I am a writer on either site. My time is precious like everyone else. If I don't have time to write both sites (and I'm the most active writer right now), how can you expect everybody too. This is an issue between you and Ed. No one else. Leave the writers out of it
For those of you who don't know me, this is Viraleus but those closest to me call me Eddie. I am the moderator of EFW and the old FWF site that some of you may remember. I really don't want to think about how long I've spent managing this site. FWF included, it's been at least 8 years. Probably 10. And my gut tells me it's been even more.
This site has been closed twice, both times because I was too overwhelmed. Overwhelmed by outside forces, lack of participation, lack of feedback... you name it. This site has also resumed twice because I love it so damn much. There really arent many sites that cater to this fascination of ours, combining dramatic elements of wrestling with smoldering beauty of fitness and bodybuilding.
I wrote a few matches in the beginning, and I wasn't bad at it. Eventually, I stopped writing to focus on moderator duties full-time. Now let me say right away that this is not an easy site to participate in. If you've ever tried your hand at writing a match, it is NOT easy. I've seen a lot of writers come and go over the years and they all have my complete respect and appreciation. This site would not be what it is without them.
Now, this thread was started out of hostilities geared towards me. By a long-time writer Starr who thinks poorly of my character. All the events he described above actually happened, but of course the presentation is such to make me into this... great master manipulator. In truth, I am a very transparent person and it's the insinuation that I intentionally hurt people and break promises that sickens me most about this thread.
I'm grateful to the writers who have replied and given their perspective on the matter. Anyone reading them may catch glimpses of my true qualities as a person.
Smoke and mirrors, light show aside, this is ultimately what all the drama comes down to: one site flourishing and the other not. A lot of noise has been made about the rosters and the removal of exclusive wrestlers. Boo-freaking-hoo. As BadGirlLover explained, what right do any of us have to these persons? None. In reality, if Starr's site were the more active... with writers contributing and readers lending feedback... this would not be an issue.
And since Starr's site struggles, it becomes my fault for stiffing him. For taking away the writers who made him promises. There is no entitlement in this, Starr. Writers like Chris, Nigel, Rossi, Daigz, Hacksaw, Jan... you name it... they don't owe you a damn thing. They don't owe ME a damn thing. This is an activity we pursue for fun and, as I said earlier, it's not an easy one. If they change their mind (imagine that), then there's not a hell of a lot you or I can do about it. I simply respect their wishes and leave it at that. You need to do the same.
As for the real reason why writers are on this end of the fence, maybe... just maybe... it has to do with the way things are run. Our two feds are of differing philosophies as you've told me. Mine is a simple formula. You have wrestlers. You have titles. And you give the writers the freedom to express their ideas. To this day, you are the only writer has told me that my style is too restrictive for your creativity. I have yet to hear that complaint from any other writer.
That is not to say I am without faults, but you, sir, clearly don't acknowledge your own. We tried to bring the two feds together, and we acquiesced on several points of conflict. But in the end, you needed your creative freedom. You needed to have control over every... single... one of your characters. Because they are yours for some mystical reason that eludes me. I accepted your decision and our feds became free to operate independently. And now you send Kent to post this rant of yours? To criticize me for making you into some victim?
You have what you've always wanted, Starr. An entire roster to steer to your grand design. If you wish to attract participants, however, you will have to learn to let go of the ship. That's all I have to say.
So to close this incredibly windy response, EFW fans, judge me as you will, but I have been as honest and forthright as I can possibly be. I do apologize for this diversion today.
